Just read on AICN that this series is being dropped along with Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone. No more episodes after ep.13

They never seem to let the good shows run. The other half and I were really enjoying this show. I wonder if they'll try to wrap up the loose threads.
I don't know why, but the thought pops into my head that this could carry on as a series of novels (if the plot lines can't be tied up).

Well reading up on the variety story this comes from, there's the slimmist chance these could come back, but basically ABC doesn't want to use the 'C' word.

And as DSM is currently filming episode 12 when the producers were told, I guess they'll be no conclusion to the series.

I've been saving S2 for a rainy-day. If they do manage to have some kind of conclusion with ep.13 I probably will watch it eventually as it was ok.

tbh, can see why it has been canned as it's utterly ludicrous! At least S1 had a small slice of credibility, but this series..!? WTF!

I gave up on it about episode 4 or 5 of season 2 but the Mrs still loves it she just watched three episodes last week in one sitting. Has it been canned? How many more episodes are left?

The other half and I are still loving this. I just checked with wiki about the episodes as technically there are 13 in total, so that leaves us 4 to go. But on wiki someone has added this,

They would be crazy insane if they didn't broadcast the final episodes, especially as I read that when they found out they were getting cancelled, the show creators did manage to rewrite the final episode (ep.13) so that it wrapped up the main storylines, including who killed Dutch..... but then, it is the US Networks we are talking about so they might be sneaky & leave the unseen episodes for the inevitable dvd boxset.

According to this article at USA Today, the last few episodes will be aired in the summer.

According to IMDb, there are 12 episodes in Season One, but - as far as I know - there are only 10 episodes on the UK S1 DVD?

It looks like someone at IMDB puts placeholders in for future episodes. IMDB has 18 slots for season 2!

I just looked at Wiki and TV.com and there are only 10 episodes in season 1.

McPherson said he hopes to get unaired episodes of the shows online at ABC.com, but that requires negotiating for online rights without a broadcast with each show's producing studios. He noted with regret that the timing didn't work to give producers notice that they needed to wrap the shows with series finale episodes.

I really hope this gets a proper season 2 release. I don't want to watch the last episodes on the computer every time. Also,

Latest word is the remaining filmed episodes of S2 will only be included on the S2 dvd boxset & not shown on tv. The same thing is also likely to happen to Eli Stone & Pushing Daisies.

Other half and I watched the last three episodes tonight. It was the usual three episodes of great entertainment but I guess as it was coming to and end were expecting a little bit more.

I guess the biggest reveal of was that

Shame this was cancelled as it seems only the last episode was wrapping things up, the previous two were still setting up plot lines for the rest of the season.

Watched the first season and thought it was ok but the second quickly became dross, gave up on it for the most part when the most unbelievable thing happened - he left his really fit wife for the (relatively) rough Karen Darling.
