Reebok did 3xl but Adidas only go up to XXL - but the size is very similar to the largest Reebok kit. And yes, they do the XXL in Sports World.

As I say - others on here may know different.

But for general ticket sales, you need to keep your eye on the ball in terms of knowing when the "general sales" date for each game is and make sure you're on the phone bright and early.

Get a fancard , it's only a few quid and should get you to a home PL match against lesser opposition. I've had plenty of chances to buy tickets for PL matches on my fancard...

Yeah just get a fancard. It costs £3.50 this season (there is a link on the main LFC site) and then you get option to buy tickets when they go on sale. Find out when they are on sale on the site and get up early and start calling or going on the website.

I managed to get v Spurs tickets that way last season. I am hoping to do the same this year, the spurs game is on the 23rd of September and I want to go up to Liverpool with my Spurs supporting mate (he is hoping to get away tickets). That game should be ok to get tickets as it's on Sky and an early kick off.

But someone with a Fancard with 0 credits on it (as would be the case with macca1476) is no more likely to get a ticket for a game than someone without one.

Unless I am missing something ?

Yes you are, tickets often go on sale to fancard holders before general sale (and you need a fancard to use the online system too.) The amount of games against your card doesn't matter for PL matches either so having 0 or 10 PL matches makes no difference when trying to buy a ticket. The matches that do count tend to be for the same competition so to get a later round or final ticket for any of the cup comps you often have to have attended earlier rounds, the more rounds you attend the earlier you get to buy.

You try getting a ticket for Man U or Everton (to name but two) - home or away - with a fancard with 0 credits on it.

Tickets for games like that never make it to general sale (or to fancard holders) so it will make no difference how many points you have on your card.

For example this is the release schedule for the LFC v Spurs game:
Quote:
From To For Additional Information
Tue Aug 29 Mon Sep 4 PTS Members PTS members only, PTS phone number and online

Wed Aug 30 Wed Aug 30 e-Season Ticket Holders e-Season Ticket holders only via the e-Season Ticket Ballot

Tue Sep 5 Sat Sep 23 General Sale Credit Card line and a limited number online for Fancard holders

Wed Sep 13 Sat Sep 23 General Sale Window sale - subject to availibilty
When fancard tickets go on sale on September 5th you go online put in your fancard number pick the tickets you want and if they are available you get them. Makes no difference how many points you have.

For the big games ST and PTS get all the tickets they never have anything left by the time general sales come round.

Points on the card are only used for cup game (CL, League and FA Cup).

As I said if you want to get tickets on your fancard you have to get up early and hope it's not sold out. Also it's probably best not to look for tickets to the big games (Everton, ManU, City, Chelsea etc). Mid table teams are usually OK to get tickets for.

They never get as far as the fancard holders so number of games doesn't come into it. I've never seen a PL game for sale to fancard holders that had a requirement for other matches on the fancard.

The fancard is great for fans who want to go to the occasional game as long as you realise it's not gonna help much for the popular ones. A fancard would have got you a community shield ticket too but they are not available on general sale. It's well worth £3.50 IMO and when you compare it to similar cards in rival clubs they are an absolute steal. Spurs for example charge £28 for theirs IIRC and you have to renew it every year. The Arsenal one that had a similar level of advantage (Red membership I think it's called) is also a similar price to spurs and requires annual renewel.

That simply isn't the case ... I know dozens of people who get into the Man U and Everton game based on their fancard credits.

Are you sure they are not part of the PTS scheme? I've never seen the big matches get to the fancard only stage.

Anyway, this is a side issue, Macca just wants to go to any game and a fancard will help him get a ticket if the match isn't one of the big ones. It won't matter if he has no credits if he's trying to get to a lower status match.

EDIT - I've just checked on the official site and the only 2 premiership matches that require credits are the 2 you've mentioned, all the others don't.

Was gonna go out and get the shirt today, but theres some confusion over Gonzalez's name for the premiership lettering. Think its still going to be "M.Gonzalez" but JJB dont sell the dots..... will have to wait and see, unless anyone got Gonzalez on their shirt from the club and knows better?

Why would it be "M." - we only have one Gonzalez at the club,

It's not "S.Gerrard" is it

Tha't bizarre !!!

Unless of course, the M doesn't refer to Mark ??

UPDATE: Just checked the official site, if you go to order a home shirt you can choose a name for the back. That list has "11 M.Gonzalez"
