So when they have a bad game, it's easy to hide. Like Zebras do.

we have loads of left sided options. despite duff being able to operate on the right,he's much more effective on the left. we won't be signing him imo.

Given his injury record, it was the natural place for him.
I think his medical might be delayed as my 4 year old daughter who normally handles Toon Medicals is currently away on holiday

Silly man! I just don't understand the mentality of a player like that. He has a chance to really push on, to fulfill his potential.
Then he goes to Newcastle.

Agree with that, don't understand why he'd want to join them, he should have held out for Spurs to agree with Chelsea, or is it a case of Newcastle going over the top with a bid like they did for Owen when we were intereted?
Not sure if we were ever in for him but I'd have loved him to join us.

Too injury prone...and he'd have cost us a fair whack.
I just want us to get a dedicated right winger in the mould of Lennon/Wright-Phillips...
Someone who can run at defenders and either cut in or get to the byline...
Don't want someone who gets to the top third then stops to put it on their left.

Monday we will all be ordering our new home shirts, which name will we have on the back? At the moment I reckon it's Gonzalez for me.

Don't know if anyone else is watching the match on the e-season ticket but Lindfield just scored a great goal after a great move.

Yep. Quality stuff from Fowler and Lindfield.
Craig Lindfield looks very sharp, could be an excellent young player for us in the coming seasons (after already performing well in the youth team). Pacey and making intelligent runs, whilst his finishing doesn't appear to be too shabby either
EDIT: Traore still looking useless though
