Is there a MUST HAVE Xbox 360 game coming?
I've been looking in some computer stores whilst I'm in town, just seeingin there were any 360's in stock.
Seen a couple of Core packs, but no Premiums on the shelf yet.
But anyhow, to be totally honest, I really don't know if I'd actually buy one yet.
I guess, the problem is, with most of the consoles etc of the past, there's always been a MUST HAVE title.
Something everyone saw that just made your jaw drop and you just had to have it.
Is there any news on a MUST HAVE title on the horizon for the 360 at the moment?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the current games are bad at all, it's just that nothing has me really excited on the current lineup.

I think the next wave are arriving...March/April....Gears of War does look a must have title, but whether it makes those months
Just noticed the next incarnation of Ghost Recon, "Advanced Warfighter "(info HERE ) is due for release on the 3rd of March .....should be good ...

Oblivion is on the horizon (still scheduled for March, I think) and if RPGs are your bag that's pretty indispensable. Fight Night looks pretty amazing too.

March/April is spot on, that should be the proper "first wave" of 360 games without a (too) rushed development time. Might be worth waiting till then. Perhaps some accessories will be available then as well

Despite my geneal dislike of this type of game, the new Ghost Recon looks like it's the first game to take advantage of the 360 H/W.
Personally though, I'm hoping that Capcom rock my world with Dead Rising.....soooo looking forward to this.

Thanks, the March April (Easter Time) sounds good to me.
I'm guessing these titles will be the ones that have had THAT much more work on them rather than (possible) rushed for launch ones.
I will get a 360, no doubt about it, but (for me) it's just lacking that, god, look at that, I just MUST buy one to play THAT title.

I dont think there are any must have games at the minute, but DOA4 is supposed to be good so that should be a good addition to the library. Other than that, Prey/Oblivion look excellent, but whether they play is as good is another question all together.

Did you read the IGN hands on of Dead Rising? Scathing. Early days yet though.
I didn't get on with DoA4 either. Backgrounds look nice, little bit harder than DoAU but other than that and a quirky but pointless online lobby it's exactly the same as DoAU (as far as I could tell). Nothing wrong with it but quite literally, nothing new.

Read an interview over on NTSC forums regarding Dead Rising, and it sounded promising....seen some of the videos and admittedly it does look limited in scope considering it only has a few months before release....but here's hoping.
Not too fussed about Saint's Row....but A.P.B. (if I remember the correct game) with it's online world still going on whilst you are offline sounds like it could be a winner.
Just want a killer app that isn't a FPS, though with Gears and Halo 3 knocking at our door (hopefully this year for the latter) then it may be just wishful thinking.

DOA this friday.... But the games are still being PRICED at £50 it's ridiculous, you woulda thought MS or someone woulda stepped in and put a stop to it... I know they have no legal right or obligation but considering four games could buy you a core pack it's kinda ridiculous.....
.... Mights start hasslin the GAME employees whenever I go to pay for a game... "When are you planning to sell them at RRP?"
I pre-ordered Tomb Raider for 29.99 though There's a thread here somewhere with the link!

There's some pretty amazing looking games coming up, but from playing the demo I'd go with Fight Night. I reckon it's going to be the first real next gen game.

Shop at ASDA if you must buy from and bricks and mortar store. 360 games are priced between £39.99-44.99. Still expensive but up to £10 cheaper than Game.

It was from Play, but they banged the price back up to £39.99 a while back.

That's pretty dismissive. Okay so you might not like the genre, but perhaps other people do.
Have you seen it first hand?

I like the demo but it's not truly a next gen game IMO. The graphics are excellent, but the gameplay is the same Fight Night that was on the Xbox.
