Any DVD recorders with HDMI output?

Parents are interested in an LCD or plasma to replace their old TV - have suggested the £800 32" Toshiba at Empire Direct. I've also recommended they get a new DVD player with HDMI output for the best quality to the panel.

They like the idea of ditching VHS for a DVD recorder though; to avoid having an extra box, are there any recorders that also output HDMI for playback?
