Gran turismo 4 coming to Xbox?

Hey, couldnt believe it, but my mate's just said that gran turismos coming to the xbox as well. I said he was talking ****. As far as i know sony basically own (polyphonics is it) who make the game and i cant imagine them messing up and letting it out onto the Xbox.

The reason i want to ask if anyone else has heard of this is that im at the verge of buying a ps2 (from the classifieds here)

So, anybody else heard anything about this?

There is no way on Earth that Gran Turismo will ever come to Microsoft console. The franchise is owned exclusively by Sony.

won't happen - this and the GTA games are the only thing the PS2 has going for it.

xbox has much more eye-pleasing games.....i'll reserve judgment on Forza though until its out.

BTW why do people say PGR2 is a good racing sim? its a bag of ****. No realism at all!!!

Is gran turismo 4 available for PC yet?
Is it likely to be?
Is the Nurburgring a circuit on gran turismo 3?
Is gran turismo 3 available for PC?

Sorry for so many Q's, but I need to familiarise myself with the circuit as I'm riding there for a couple of laps in the spring (I've been three times before, but it's a mad circuit and I need to be more prepared this time) I would prefer to have a game for the PC which features the 'Ring, rather than PS2. Can anyone advise me please.

Looks like GT4 for the PS2 for me then.....Cheers Harsin.

EDIT: Unless anyone can suggest another game for the PC which features the Nurburgring. Doesn't need to be a top title as I only need it for familiarisation of the circuit....

GTR has N'ring as a mod.Its not the same version as PGR2 or GT4 though,it just uses the full course.

swsxp02. Thats exactly what i wanna do when i get my new car this summer. Do you have any info of driving round the ring? bit worried that my car (230 RX8) is gonna too slow compared to every1 else tho!

Is it 14 euros per lap or for the day?

BTW i think grandprixlegends (pc) has the nerbergring in it (the 13 mile version, not the GP track) but it doesnt work on Windows XP!!! was soo tempted to do a duel boot just so i could get this game to play.

Pretty sure it's per lap. I wouldn't expect it to help too much in a game though - did you see that bloke get owned by it on Top Gear? He said "I practiced on the game a lot". Heh, lamer.
