Apparently he's from Couture's training camp (talk about different personalities). As much as he's annoying, I think he'll be around for a while.

The other one who may be a potential winner is the one who was exercising in his room while the others were drinking (can't remember his name).

Surprised to hear that, he is a moron, but he will be kept around to keep the show interesting from a storyline point of view at least, plus he does appear to have some ability.
It is a good show overall.

The guy with the tattoos who was picked first (Nick something?) is also a Couture trainee. I don't think it really matters, though. I can't see either of them being given preferential treatment.

Just watched the third Ultimate Fighter show with the first elimination fight. It was definitely the best show so far, but this "weight cutting" business is just plain dangerous. It's also ridiculous, when the actual fight weight can be a great deal higher.

So what are everyones predictions for UFC 51?

Mine are in red.

Prelims.

1. Nick Diaz vs Drew Fickett -Diaz

2. Karo Parisyan vs Chris Lytle-Karo

3. David Loiseau vs Gideon Ray -Loiseau

4. Mike Kyle vs James Irvin-Irvin

UFC 51 MAIN CARD

1. Paul Buentello vs Justin Eilers -Eilers

2. David Terrell vs Evan Tanner - UFC Middleweight Championship -Terrell

3. Andrei Arlovski vs Tim Sylvia - UFC Heavyweight Interim Championship-Sylvia

4. SWING BOUT - Phil Baroni vs Pete Sell-Baroni

5. Vitor Belfort vs Tito Ortiz - Main Event-Ortiz

I would actually like Tanner, Arlovski and Belfort to win their respective fights, but dont think any will. The interim HW title fight and main event are very hard to call as Syvia, Belfort and Ortiz are unknown quantities at the moment.
Really looking forward to seeing this on sunday

Does anyone know if we will see all the fights on Bravo on Sunday or just the main card?

As far as I can make out it's basically going to be the same as the US PPV so I imagine we'll get maybe one prelim if we're lucky. Would be good to get the whole card though.

Looks like Bravo's showing a fair bit of UFC this week

Monday 23:00 Royce Gracie Vs Ken Shamrock Superfight

Tuesday 23:00 Ultimate Knockouts 1

Wednesday 23:00 Ultimate Kncokouts 2

Should be a good week. Now just got to hope that Bravo are going to show The Ultimate Fighter as I'd really like to see this. I think they may also be doing the same with 52 (with confirmed Couture Vs Lidell) as they are with 51

It was very one sided actually but i guess Chuck has a punchers chance. The UFC really needs new blood in the 205 division. Randy said yesterday that if he loses then he may participate in the PRIDE MW GP.

LOL he went for the Tank Abbott look, maybe leaning back towards him winning now. Should be a good fight either way.

Fighting temptation now to read the results. Only 10 1/2 hours to go and I'll be safe. Realy looking forwards to this as it's going to be the first time I've managed to watch a UFC since 46 without knowing the results first.

Ortiz should really learn to keep his mouth shut.

He is gonna look a fool if he doesn't sign up against Shamrock for UFC 52.

Roll on April 16th

Apparently he's in negotiations for the fight which will be shown "live on Spike TV" . Tito is a smart guy so I dont think would have mouthed off if he didn't want the fight to happen.

the mouth off seemed kinda.. rehearsed, but it was still fun to watch enjoyed the card as a whole, those prelim fights looked great too! shame we didn't get to see those.

did anyone hear what happened to vitors sister (who was "missing in brazil" when he fought randy the first time?)

also i don't mind the TUF fighters being part of coutures camp anyway, if that means you get the best people on the show, so be it.. but the way randy doesn't seem to know thats how chris behaves etc is a bit daft, or he's really naive about his own fighters! need to watch ep3+ now, 2nd ep wasn't as good but at least it was varied. glad they'll be kicked out based on fighting ability now.. was anyone surprised by the first person to leave :P i guessed the 2nd person too, i didn't think they'd give "the other one" the boot because he's talented and probably does help with the ratings.

I don't think the afterfight confrontations were rehearsed (although I have no doubt that Ortiz had decided ahead of time to shout his mouth off). Liddell was definitely not happy, and anyone who saw Shamrock in professional wrestling knows that he can't act that well.

A couple of things that I've heard about The Ultimate Fighter show (after four shows, its now essential viewing). They didn't choose the best fighters to take part. Instead, they chose the best fighters who had an education. The idea was to show the public that it's not all about violent thugs beating the crap out of each other. I'm not sure how well that's working so far, considering some of the things that they've got up to when drunk.
