Bo Selecta! - Why does the Lennon character say "shmickles!"?

It's not explained on the commentary track so was just wondering why the dead John Lennon character says the word "Shmickles" quite frequently?
Anyone know?
I'm assuming it's something he said once in a movie or something (a bit like how Michael Jackson's "Shamone has now become a catch phrase). Problem is I don't fancy sitting through an entire Beatles movie on the off chance of finding out

I doubt he ever said schmickles, I think it's just a silly personality trait Lee has given the character kind of like giving Justin Timberlake a puppet named the Reverand JT!

Plus it does sound fairly Scouse
