Can you help my mother? (old british sitcom/army related)

My Mum was asking fi either It Ain't Half Hot Mum or Get Some In where ever going to appear on DVD. I have to say i have no idea, but would be interested (if only cos she said Robert Lyndsey(sp) is in GSI and he's generally worth a watch)

Any help greatfully recieved!

I used to enjoy the programme - mind you, I was only six when it started..

I sort of remember the theme tune as well

dum de dum de dum de dum... GET SOME IN!!!

The woman who played Tony Selby's wife used to own a pub up the road from me.

Great show, would love to see it again.

Would It Aint half Hot Mum be considered too un-pc these days? Gets repeated on UKGold and the Yanks (insanely) have seen fit to release Are You Being Served so they may be the best bet. Remember watching the last ep as a kid when they were all de-mobbed and it was unexpectedly moving.

agree, saw last ep on ukgold (not that long ago) and was good.

Not fussed on region (and actually more chance of a r1 or4 release, they actually seem to like our tv progs) prob a bit un pc, but i dont see that being a major problem (i own series 1 of Love Thy Neighbour!!!)

I remember Get Some in - good series, I enjoyed the repeats on satellite a few years ago too.

Good site there, now if we could get a release of Chelmsford 123, Hot Metal and KYTV I'd be happy.
