Any of you watch the Next-Gen match this evening? Sterling looked very good, though you knew that already, Ngoo much less so though. It was a closely contested game, though you dominated the last 15-20 minutes of the 1st half but Spurs march on after a 1-0 win & will face Barcelona or Ajax in the semi-final.

Well, Bolton did us a favour, but the surprise package of Newcastle keeps rolling on.
Ba and Tiote due back soon.
Hopefully they'll fall away once they reach that magic 40 point mark...
We seem to be the team with momentum at the moment, if we can beat Spurs on Monday, that could hopefully be the springboard we need.
Huge game.

Can't see it myself. Spurs are flying. I fear we will be well beaten.

On the flip side, I'd be happy with a point at Anfield, despite winning there in recent seasons. VdV might be injured (would be an interesting first game for Saha!).
You'll have to keep Modders quiet. He is simply amazing and has been all season.
On paper, it could be a very good game.

If Johnson lines up against Bale, I really fear for us.

Just as long as Kenny doesn't put out his "field of defenders" team I will be ok. Don't ever want to see 6 defenders on the pitch again.

If you field it (9 defenders), the goals won't come.

It was Skrtel at RB last time and it was a disaster, Johnson would definately be better than that. I would play Kelly though..............and still want GJ on RM.

Of course, I had forgotten that Johnson didn't play. I remember now, Skrtel had a mare, hard to blame him as not his position.

Liverpool U19s are back in the Nextgen Series as Spurs have had to withdraw due to fielding an ineligible player! Ajax or Barcelona in the next round for us. We were absolutely fantastic at times the other night and it was incredible that we didn't win the game on the night! Now to potentially get Barcelona must be a very exciting proposition for Sterling and others!

Stewart Downing will not face charges following his arrest last month, his former girlfriend is still under investigation.
Press Association
Some good news finally coming our way, and Suarez back for Monday!
