I felt it hits all the right notes but sadly is way too short. It'll probably be viewed better as a whole but as for the ep itself...I really like the growing tension between Obi Wan and Anakin, granted, there isn't enough time to expand on it any more, but if they keep little moments like that going throughout the show then it should set things up nicely for Ep 3.

I think it could end up being a great gap filler between the 2 films. But it did feel wierd only watching it for 3 minutes.
As GPJ said, it'll probably be better viewed as a whole.

waaaay too short, but what we did get was quite good. I presume it's not the movie actors doing the voices is it?

No it isn't the real actors. Only Anthony Daniels has come in for the toons.

It sounded like Ewan McGregor to me.
I thought it was poor myself.

Not too impressed tbh, might be OK watching as a whole, but I wasn't too impressed with the animation, the faces all looked weird to me.

To be honest I'm not a fan of Samurai Jack's animation style to start with. If only they'd gone the same direction as the Animatrix instead of going the kid's show = maximum $ route.

I thought there was something wrong when it only lasted for three minutes. The animation makes it look like onr of those Flash based ****-take animations.

Way too short, but this may work in its favour. After all, it's another year and a half till the last film so they don't want to water down the brand too much.
I liked the animation style, though, especially with Mace Windu and Palpatine.
And whoever did the impression of Ewan Mcgregor was 100 times better than the one who attempted it for the Clone wars game.
Will have to watch the commentary now, I guess....

Enjoyed it, too short though, but that's the point, I guess.
Thought the voice actor who did Obi-Wan was better than Macregor, to be honest..!
Look forward to watching the whole series in one go.
Wish The Phantom Menace was only 3 minutes long..

So much for the World Wide Web, the download from Cartoon Network is only available in the US.
Anyone know of any way around this?

Fingers crossed Lucas gets him to dub over McGregor's awful effort from ep 1 and 2 and ,unless he improves, 3.

As everyone has said it was way to short
To be honest I think I'll wait and see them altogether but from what little I've seen I'm not that impressed so far.

I also didn't like Anakins face, his chin looked a bit strange, he has one of those faces that you'd love to punch.

Too short and a bit of an anticlimax for me - on saying that I'm not a huge fan of this style of animation - may enjoy it more when I watch them all together one after the other.
