It's just typical, isn't it? Frasier has been noticably going downhill as they approach the final season and as soon as the final one hits us, you get three absolutely corking episodes in a row. The Patrick Stewart ep is up there with Frasier at its very best.

I agree I saw this episode last monday and it was a classic episode. So many good jokes. Quality acting as well, Patrick was very good in the episode

Haven't several of the old writers and crew come back for the last season? That would explain it. I wouldn't say they were the best eps I've seen but they are good

I missed most of last season due to C4's appalling decision to shift it from Friday night, but this series seems to be on top form even if the last was not. All four so far have been excellent, but Stewart's episode is definitely the best so far!
