Big Brother 9 - Thread 2

Squeeky G posted...

"Is this post a joke?

You can claim BB were messing around with the nomination process by putting him in jail and not letting him vote, sure. But you're saying it's unfair that he gets to vote? BB have "fixed" noms by allowing someone to vote? And it's "unfair" because of the voting choices he will make?

Big Brother basically put Luke in jail to test the housemates on whether they would use the "Get out of jail" token on him. To test whether the housemates think everyone has a right to vote. And to watch the ensuing arguments when one of Luke's allies uses the token."

No it's not a joke!

BB knew the outcome of the nominations without Luke's vote.
They may have allowed him to vote, knowing who he'd pick so they'd have a good chance of getting the future story line they wanted if his votes changed the outcome.

There's a poster on the DS forum who knows the nomination results on a Tuesday morning and he's confirmed that this week it's :

Luke's nominations have apparently made a difference as without his nominations it would have been

An absolutely perfect eviction choice. It's group vs group for the 2nd week in a row after they lost Sylva last week. When they lose that boring, over-dramatic moron Jen this week, they're all gonna know they're in serious trouble. And if Dale slits his wrists when Jen goes, well, then we ARE talking Brucie Bonus!

Excellent. I might even spunk 30 pence on making sure Jen gets a harsh booing come Fri.

Not as interesting as it would be if they stopped this not allowing the house to hear the chants outside crap. It's just not the same that when Davina announces the results, it's quiet.

If she does go and I really hope she does.... the look on their faces will be TV gold. I bet most of them will be expecting Rex to go for sure.

Don't be so sure gang - I wouldn't be surprised if Rex went this Friday as keeping Jen in the house will certainly provide more entertainment to the casual viewer what with her love triangle with Dale and Stuart.

I'd like to see her go, though.

Still want Darnell to win, mind. Very respectful and sweet of him to walk back out of the room when Mario was oiling his other half's breasts!
