First Aid Kit

(I don't know if there's already a thread about this band, because it turns out their name is unsearchable in the Forums!).

Anybody a fan of Swedish folk/country/pop act First Aid Kit? Two sisters with absolutely gorgeous voices, wonderful harmonies and a strong ear for songwriting.

I've listened to them back since I discovered them around 2009. They've just recently released their fourth album 'Ruins' which I've had on rotation a lot recently.

I also like that they have a sense of humour and rarely take themselves too seriously.

Yep fan here. Saw them live a couple of months ago at a fairly intimate gig in London. Amazing voices, those harmonies!

They even sung a song unplugged, something I've never seen before, and it still sounded awesome.

Enjoying Ruins although not quite as much as their previous two albums. Lions Roar remains my favourite.

I've not yet had the pleasure of seeing them live.

I think that Stay Gold remains my favourite album by them, I felt like it was the one that made a big statement. The new one is great, although part of me is beginning to wish they would explore some new sounds. The release of 'You Are The Problem Here' last year showed that they can handle punk rock pretty well and had me wondering if they were beginning to experiment, and they do all sort of fun live covers in different genres.
