And those Enterprise episodes with the Defiant callback to The Original Series episode, 'The Tholian Web'.

Odd thing about seeing the Defiant again, not the cosmetic changes but the fact that it would still be in service. It must be at least 100 years old; they got rid of the Enterprise after 20. If the Terran Empire had the defiant all this time why do their ships look like the ones in Discovery's home universe?

Another vote for ENT's In A Mirror Darkly. The show really went before it's time S4 was a lot better than what came before but the finale was a kick in the balls while it was on the ground. A better ending would have been Archer signing the charter and then having to rush off to fight a Romulan Armada

What happened to other Klingon who was abandoned on ship, near the start of the series, with the female one currently on the Discovery?

God how i get annoyed with people placed in high positions of importance.
The whole crew may depend on you, but you have a "Condition" that's affecting you, and another high ranking person knows this, but is also covering up. Again putting the lives of everyone at risk.
Then again it's like in some other space films when the crew are a total bunch of armatures and start acting like children at the 1st sign of any problem.
I know films would be boring if highly trained people placed in these positions actually acted as professionals would do
But it still annoys the hell out of me!

A really hate when people when people are framework around which the sculpture is built, I tell them to do some work instead

I guess you are referring to the PTSD/repressed memory of Ash, I don't think you understood what is happening

No, Simon Pegg does a bad Scottish engineer accent. Jason Isaacs' was impeccable.

That was absolutely fantastic, if only all of Enterprise had been that good.

The Discovery episode makes a lot more sense now.

Season 4 was when they finally got enterprise right, i know some like season 3, thought it was pretty awful. They tried to copy the war on Ds9 with the hack writers shoving in their temporal cold war ****

Well, it really all kicked off there! The revelations were both things we were expecting and some surprises. I'm also intrigued at the possibilities that the show could head in as we go on.

Only just caught up with last weeks last night the first

and I've confirmed a turn on of mine. Nice girls dressed up as bad villains. Willow from Buffy dressed up as an evil vampire, and now Tilly as Captain Tilly.

Didn't notice it myself, the Defiant wireframe seen on the show is not the same as the model used on TOS/Enterprise

Question

Is it me thats just think this is just "OK" then?

I think if it did not have the Star Trek name attached to it, I would have given up by now

Mind you the "Star Trek" name didnt stop me giving up on Voyager & Enterprise, so I find it better than them, but not in the same league as the OS, Next Gen & Deep Space 9.

I’m not totally convinced.

The whole mirror universe is a massive turn off for me — lots of thinly veiled political statements (which I know is a ST thing generally) but very clumsy in this series.

Loved episode 11.

Had a bit of a Farscape vibe to it.

I've given up on it for now, the first two episodes didn't grab me. I think it's more of a "whole show" thing for me, I'll tune back in when it's finished and can watch the lot.
