Group Policy Editor can be used to turn off the automatic installation of updates, but they'll still download, and you're notified there are updates ready to install. This is fairly easy in Win10 Pro, but Home need a 3rd party Group Policy Editor installed.

You'd also be using Windows 10 Enterprise which allows the turning off of automatic updates... those W10 machines, in potentially immense numbers, can sit without security patches. Or Windows Server 2016, which is W10 and would have the same security holes can also sit unpatched forever.. so it's mute point, it's not impossible for W10 to sit unpatched.

There is no reason why a good UI with several layers of options and serious looking 'are you sure' messages couldn't allow any user (customer!) to turn off or tune their updates and correctly manage their own frickin reboots!

Since the recent Windows 10 update, I'm finding both my PC's seem to be stuck on the same log-in wallpaper.

they both used to change every few days, but now, they have both been showing the same image for 2 if not 3 weeks.

any thoughts ?

I would suggest that if people didn't worry about things like login wallpaper and background images the world would be a better place

You say that, and a couple of days ago I'd have agreed with you - but I had this as my login wallpaper at work on Friday and it's awesome

Surely that bridge isn't really as steep as that? It looks the bridge version of the Eau Rouge corner

Looks like the Skye bridge to me...
And whilst that image is clearly fore-shortened, it's not far off the true steepness of the Skye bridge, which reaches 16% gradient at one point!

Ah sorry, yes, you won't see this info without the W10 links overlaid but it's Storseisundet Bridge in Norway.

There's some nice views of it in google images, particularly when the sea is a bit rough!!

Noooo, this one needs a bit of a run up to traverse.
Probably a bit of a bump on the other side!

Wow thanks for pointing that out.
I generally just found that photo, and at the time, until you pointed it out and i read the article had no idea I'd randomly found a photo of the same bridge from another angle!

Err thanks!

Be honest, unless you are looking to spot something, they are totally different photo's from different angles, showing different "effects"

I would never have noticed they were the same, until it was pointed out and I looked and thoughts, oh yeah, now you say that, I can see.

Are you meant to jump from this to the mountains opposite? Or maybe just the island in the middle.
