Perfect timing. Was gonna watch before The Last Jedi.

Enjoy it before the Disney streaming services go live.

Another vote for The Babysitter. An enjoyable comedy horror that's really well done.

I really enjoyed Jim & Andy. I've always liked Jim Carrey and found this documentary fascinating.

The iPlayer streaming service will launch its first 4K output with all seven episodes of Blue Planet II immediately after the last episode airs on Sunday.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-42225220

List of compatible TVs here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/l...-planet-II-uhd

I saw the 4 minute demo of Planet Earth II a month or so ago, looked really good so I might hold off on watching the last episode and stream it instead.

Wish they could improve their 1080p output first.

Good to see the Amazon Prime Video app finally making an appearance on Apple TV. I mean, its still the same $hitty app, but its one less thing to have to faff about with iPads and Airplay which is nice.

Conversely, it's a shame to see YouTube being removed from the Amazon Fire boxes/sticks in the new year.

Picture quality on browser never seems as good as boxes or inbuilt TV apps IME.

As I say, Roku seems really good and supports most apps, they seem to want to be the main stick that does everything and stays out of petty squabbles.

I have a stick and a 3, but they've done a new box for about £30 that is 5 times faster than a stick, should serve most purposes

Just seen Roku finally offering 4k in the UK now. No ethernet port though is disappointing and an oversight IMO.

The apps on my Samsung TV work well enough for me though. Without an amp that does 4k pass a separate box is of little benefit.

The new Jackie Chan/Pierce Brosnan film The Foreigner is on Netflix. Which is a pleasant surprise as it got a US cinema release and I was expecting the same here.

The Foreigner did really well at the box office too.wonder if the film distributor got cold feet about Brosnan's Jerry Adams impression?

A live action version of Erased came to Netflix on Friday. Watched the animated version last year and that was superb. About a guy who travels back in time after witnessing a horrible event to try and change the future.
