It's nice to see the games in the UK & at Wembley, but it's a shame Wales could not have hosted some.

You'd think they could have hosted a couple out of the overall UK allocation, apparently host countries should get two home games as well, so that's got to be a positive for us. Maybe treating the whole thing like qualifiers will help.

Euro 2020

Just reading the article, it looks like if we play two games at home. The only way I can see this working, if we qualify is to be seeded in Group D and so would other countries. I'm struggling to see how the draw might work. Presumably just chucking all the host countries in the right group and backfilling the rest

Presumably we would have to be stuck in Group D, as would Scotland if they qualified, and we would play two at Wembley and one in Scotland (that'd be a great game I think).

The host countries seem to be designed to keep the six biggest teams apart, paired with a lesser country.

This could be pretty good for us, I'd say if we qualified, but we'd only need to finish top 2.

It would have been good if the millennium stadium had got one of the extras.

I also don't understand why they weren't shared among the other hosts? Or did no one else want them enough?

Maybe the FA are so desperate to keep Club Wembley customers they bid way over the odds to get the extra games?

Is it because they didn't want to add another host or the issue of giving more group games to a country, as it might be deemed unfair.
