Frustratingly, so many misplaced passes in the final third.

Surely Pogba should have scored...but I s'pose that's what you get for Ł89 million!

They bought the fa cup, & it is one of the most undeserved one's at that. Oliver
on their team sheet didn't help.

That was debatable. I thought he had a reasonable game.

Indeed ... but it was the perfect opportunity for a ref who was apparently on Chelsea's side all game.

The rules have changed - maybe you should keep up.

True. And he didn't award another for Young's handball

Ref had a few decisions to make, and as far as I could see all were correct. Nothing particularly controversial.

Certainly from my perspective, I’m not going to be a sad, bitter toss pot who blames the ref when my team isn’t good enough.

When did I say he should have sent him off ?

And BTW the rules haven't changed so as to make it impossible to concede a penalty and be sent off

The rules have changed this season. If you are making a genuine attempt then it’s a pen and a yellow, rather than a red.

I'm not exactly sure what Jones was trying to do, but I thought a penalty and yellow card was about right

Not sure he knew either.
As Keown said in the commentary, if you're going to foul him, you have to do it much, much earlier

The ref was decent as far as I saw, as previously said he could have given another pen had he requested VAR. United were truly woeful and pretty much ANY premier team would have beaten them (...and most championship teams). I think...and hope...we've seen the last appearance of a number of those players in a United shirt, with the WC shopping mall open this summer we'll have to spend a nauseating amount of money to challenge City's dominance.

...I still can't stand Maureen though, he's a very bad fit for United but I very much doubt he'll get the boot!

Anybody seen Roy Keane's rant on twitter? I think he went a bit over the top but echo his general comments on your defence. Whilst they've been a stingy lot in terms of few goals conceded, a defence with two aging wingers converted to full-backs doesn't feel like a title-challenging defence. Having said all of that, based on the game yesterday, it's the lack of creativity that is the biggest issue. I think that you'll have to invest heavily this summer or Mourinho will be in trouble.

He’s an angry man! But he’s not scared to name names and call players out. Some great quotes on there. I like the one about the club being held to ransom by a 6 foot tree with no technical ability!
