If they've put Riker's brain in a dog then I'm in otherwise I remain concerned about this show.

My first thought was data's positronic brain inside a dog. That would be stupid though.

Archer had the dog, no one else had any sort of pet.

You’re possibly mixing these two together

Quote:
In 2369, Q turned Doctor Beverly Crusher into an Irish Setter when he had an argument with her. Amanda Rogers immediately turned her back into a Human, however. (TNG: "True Q")

In 2371, Captain Kathryn Janeway owned an Irish Setter named Mollie which had puppies shortly after she left Earth to command the USS Voyager. (VOY: "Caretaker", "Hunters")

Q later tried to persuade Captain Janeway to mate with him by conjuring up a puppy. The female Q later referred to Janeway as "the dog." (VOY: "The Q and the Grey")

Lol I'd actually forgotten Q did that to her!

I was just referring to her having long ginger hair. Though that's very likely where my subconscious got the idea from.

Just watching my favourite Orville YouTuber and he’s doing a bit about Picard, first he’s mentioned the Bajoian’s without earrings spotted on set, which I’d heard about previously but now he’s talking about a

On voyager any pets would have been killed for using precious resources, which they seemed to forget about later on.

You also forget that weird farm thing they had that gave them limitless food without needing the replicators. I'm guessing high intensity veal and cows tied to milking machines.

Hmmm. Looks more like a cross between Firefly and Agents Of Shield, than a proper Star Trek show.

Looks like they've been raiding the recent Novels and Comics with Seven and Data's trailer cameos... I know there's been a consistent effort to try and make all none TV output mesh together in some sort of Canon.

Doesn't look like Star Trek, but boy does it look good. Just having people in the background with the TNG era outfits is enough to get me excited.
