No Rooney not a surprise but Mata in and no place for Carrick is.

We've got a really good squad this year. No excuse for not doing better than the last ten days.

Three very soft goals, but Matas was a piece of art.

Leicester clearly only going to be turning for the champions league this year. Can't blame them, but Watford gave us a much harder 45.

Well, let's find out how good Rooney still is. I'd bring him on at half time.

Annoyingly was out this morning and missed an awesome half (25 mins).

Will really help bring back some confidence to the teak after the past couple of weeks.

Good confidence boost. Leicester are a shadow of last season.

They've blagged it once and I don't blame them for going all out on Europe. It would have been almost impossible to improve or consolidate last season so why not throw everything at making some Leicester history.

No matter how well they did last season, a lot of it was based on the complete collapse of the big 4, all it required was some team to have a go. None of the traditional big sides could as they were a mess, the second tier of teams never equip themselves for a title charge and the likes of Everton had given up on the title before the season had started. So all it required was one team to pick up the points.

They may as well take the money the CL will be offering them and try and settle back as an established PL team and let the money roll in

Leicester have had a tricky start fixture wise with new players to integrate and injuries on top. Kante is a big loss but they'll be fine. They won 3-0 twice in the space of a few days last week!

Hardly surprising Ranieri gave up on the game at 4-0 down at HT. Waste of time risking key players at that point.

Nearly all the possession and nothing to show for it...anything other than a comfortable win will be a disaster!

We have never shown any love for this competition. Difficult when no one at the club is really up for these matches.

Love Robbie savage in commentary desperately try to give Rooney credit for his 'incredible movement' and totally avoid calling him out on what was a pathetic shot.

Was the goal our only shot on target...against this very average team?

...just nowhere near good enough for me!

Saw/ heard that - and he didn't move more than 1/2 a metre! It wasn't an easy chance, but it did come off his knee!

I don't see why they're never bothered, it's not CL riches but you'd get some decent money for getting quite far. I suppose in MUFC terms, it's another few percentage on the turnover. But when you discuss the "riches of the CL" that also isn't much in the grand scheme of things.

If our clubs don't perform though, don't we potentially lose a CL spot? I can't see it happening myself.

But manager isn't bothered, crowd isn't bothered, I'm even struggling to find an official attendance, players realise they get paid the same whether they win it or not, want to concentrate on getting back into the CL.

It's a difficult competition to win, you can see why nobody is that fussed, but they probably feel they need to have a minimal level of fussedness so play the better players.
