You say that, but they topped the money league in 2018, it's normally one of the Spanish clubs, this was with money from the Europa, not the CL. It's a bit like Arsenal, the money keeps rolling in, from an owner perspective (especially one who seems to want to turn a decent profit) it's probably doing OK

Say what?

It's fluctuated over the last 10 years, but United are usually in the top 2, usually with Real Madrid.

To be clear, by 'tighten their belts' I mean spend some money (within the FFP). We could afford to spend along the lines of PSG, but the Glaziers would have to forgo some dividends.

If you fancy a laugh, check out Twitter where Paul Jog-backs agent has suggested that Paul Scholes - he of Fergie and Keane era - knows nothing about what leadership looks like.

Some of the most damning replies to his tweet come from Liverpool fans!

According to the papers JM says he would have quit any other club by now due to the lack of backing.

1. Has he ever quit any club recently, he normally waits for the pay-off
2. He has nowhere else really to go.

Italy is also just about the only place where his horrid, cynical style of football is appreciated.

Appreciated? It's revered. It's where it was invented!

Think Italian football has evolved into a more attacking style since Jose had big success there. Juve & Roma for example, are excellent exciting to watch teams.

You think Potch will get the boot if Spurs don't win tonight? Aren't most United fans hoping they do?

They have a good manager, one of the best, who can only do so much with the team, & the team is one of the best Spurs teams I remember. Shame they didn't do anything during the transfer window None of the other great Spurs teams had so much good opposition.

Didn’t Spurs win their first 2 games? Nowhere near a must win for them, that’s beyond ridiculous.

For Utd, a draw is Ok, but only if it goes with a decent performance.

What's this, an attempt at flowing, attacking play from a Mourinho side?

I’ve absolutely no idea where this performance has come from

We better start taking our chances; if we end-up losing this one then we’ll never see this type of play again

Well...

We play the way the fans have been crying out for, miss a hat full, and I'm sure it'll somehow all be José's fault.
