Looks like this deal is back Tony...

Michael Connelly Collection - 10 Books

I've got most of them on my kindle now, but a bargain for anyone looking to get into the books.

Cheers.

I can't believe I made it through the entire first series of this without realising Mac's Dad (from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is one of the detectives

Enjoyed the first couple of episodes of Season 2.

I'm on episode 3 now and enjoying it just as much as season one.

Noticed it's a different actress playing Lance's wife now.

And my Bosch-A-Thon is finished!

Season two was great. Really enjoyed it. Hope they carry on and do more. I suppose we'll just need to wait and see though. They have certainly got enough source material to work from.

I will rewatch it all again later in the year (or maybe wait till they announce a third season).

Easily worth the £5.99 months sub to Amazon Prime!

Now to get started on the books.

Only managed to watch the first episode which was a solid opener. Got too much on my regular US TV watch-list to be able to binge-watch this, so will have to restrict myself to one-a-week!

Up to ep 5. Really enjoying it - better story than the first season.

Blasted through them over the weekend and really enjoyed it. I had massive vibes of The Wire for me. Thought it was better than season one, but that maybe because I remembered the stories used from the books more in that one.

Think it really benefits from the ability to binge watch it though, as its such a slow burner I think it'd struggle with a weekly airing schedule.

Yes it needs a binge watch IMO, I'll set some time aside when i get a chance. Glad to hear it's still as good, hard not to be really, they've got some great source material.

Half way through season two and loving it as much as season one. There are some great performances on show here. Yes, it's well written, but it's very well casted too.

Great news, currently heading towards the final 2 episodes of Season 2 and I think its great; a solid police procedural; a breath of fresh air compared to story of the week type shows which don't give the characters or the story room to breath and develop.

Season three wrapped filming the beginning of this month, no official word yet on the broadcast date other than 'early 2017'.
But Amazon must be happy, because it has been confirmed for season four already.

I suppose they get real info about who is watching a show so it's quite easy to see what to renew. I admit I don't watch a lot on there, but I watch this and I'm a good Amazon customer.

According to my TV tracking app, series 3 lands 22 Apr which is good because I've just finished the excellent 2nd series. Great news on the 4th series, it really is compelling to watch.

I really enjoy the books but wants to wait until I had read them before watching the TV show. Just finished reading Echo Park so I can watch season 1 but will probably be waiting a while to watch season 2 as I will have to read another 7 books first
