A fox taken at dusk a few days ago. One of the least frightened foxes I've ever seen. It came so close that at times I could just about get it's head in the frame (and we were sitting out in the open too)!
Apologies for the slightly off framing here, but at 1/40 second it was very hard to get an image with the fox sharp as it barely stopped moving, so the framing is off a little with a chopped tail but it's one of the sharper images. Still, impressed with what the D3s could do in these conditions. This has in camera NR set to low and that's it, processed as usual with a little levels, contrast and saturation. I didn't alter the white balance as I didn't want it to look really sunny as it was dusk on a cloudy evening.

Nikon D3s, 600 VR + 1.4x TC. 1/40s, f5.6, ISO 10,000
