I'm getting depressed watching it now...

I just keep thinking it's going to get canned before we get any resolution.

Was an excellent show and it seems obvious that Walter is definitely the key to everything.

What baffled me though is

2x10

Emotional journey, excellent performance from Noble and Joshua.

Though I am confused about many parts of the plot

Maybe the blight is due to the initial opening of Walter's door. Something harmless (virus?) to us got through to the other side and that was different enough that it became virulent and killed off all the greenery.

I saw it as simply that the other world is simply a bit screwed - the blight being just one example - and as a result they want to take over our world.

To be honest, the whole thing is VERY similar to the current Sinister/Dexter storyline in 2000AD - i.e. door opens between two worlds, with one intent on gradually colonising the other in secrecy.

Still - very good episode, even if I spent the whole thing waiting for Nimoy to arrive...

Are we sure the aliens are from earth 2 and not an earth 3? The reason I ask is the earth bell lives on looks fairly stable, not too many differences from our earth, whereas the alien talks about there being no grass etc.

He did end up suffering badly with the side effects of the travelling (he even mentioned this to Olivia I think).

Finally caught up with Season 1 on DVDs, just wondering if there's anywhere legal to start watching season 2?

I'm starting to lose this now, as some one mentioned above they obviously know how to open the door as people have been popping backwards and forwards from side 2 and olivia from side 1.

So what's the importance of how walter opened the door

i'm starting to get confused

So, we think Walter opened a door to the other side. Bulk of the arc in S1 was about someone trying to retrieve his equipment to replicate this. The other side have only sent across biomechanoids so far as far as I can tell, like the chap who took on Charlies appearance. Its not clear if the people on our side who work for the other side (?) are actually from there, could just be patsy's who've been promised riches when the NWO is in place. So the only people who have definitely crossed are Walter, Peter, Olivia and Bell?

Yeah maybe it's a safe door...

Question is what is Spock doing on the other side?

I'm also guessing not everyone has an alter ego on the other side...we need druggy hippy lady back who can see the aura's...

New ep tonight on US TV. It is supposed to be a lost episode from season 1...or is it?
