Its only their blood that contains mercury (IIRC) so it wont add enough to their overall weight (20 Kgs approx) to be noticeable except if they are very skinny women.

I'm assuming Theresa Russell recognised something about Peter that could indicate he is not the Peter she knew, i.e. that he's the one from the other dimension? Maybe a missing birthmark?

That's what I thought too...

He is 'from the otherside' isn't he...

She just looked at him for a moment as well, so she clearly clocked him.

From the first season we found out the 'original' Peter died and the reason Walter travelled to the other side was to kidnap the current Peter and bring him home. That's why a lot of the time Walter mistakenly gets Peters favourite things wrong like food and toys etc, because its the wrong peter he's thinking off.

Does Walter remember doing that?
It's going to be potentially heartbreaking when Peter finds out the truth!

Yes, toward the end of season one (might have been the last episode) the Observer takes Walter to a graveyard where we see him looking at Peter's grave.

Deffo going to be an interesting point when Peter realises he's not of this dimension.

I've wondered since we found out about Peters origins and the coming war, was it his abduction that was the trigger event that caused the others to attack our Earth?

2x05

Bit of a dull MotW, its sole purpose was to give Peter a chance to reveal some more of his past.

The character moments though were good, as usual Peter and Walter were funny and touching and Dunham had some good moments too.

I'm guessing the Pattern and ZFT are consigned to the round filing cabinet in the writers room.

At least the bowling ball guru isn't black so we don't have another cliche (magical negro)

There could be an alternate dimension Walter* still alive that started the attack for retribution of the kidnapping? (pure speculation on nothing I've read plotwise)

There was a season one episode that concentrated on Walter returning to the Mental hospital he was banged up in & during it, he encountered an evil version of himself, which at the time we thought he was just deluded, but it could have been his parallel evil version.
