I just have to put on record my applause for this show and the superb exchanges. c.f. Sally AF vs Patricia W atttacking each other with smiles at the 'business opening' was utterly fantastic, and I had to smile at Kevin's exchange with his younger bro' :
'You were going to say "That's so gay!"'
'No, I wasn't!'
'Oh grow up!'

This gets better and better.

I agree its good but I'm getting fed up of the scheduling, E4 had 2 episodes last week and only taped 1 So now I need to wait 2 weeks to catch up on Channel 4. I did e-mail Channel 4 about it but received a standard response

just watched the finale, which was nice. missed the ep before which i gather was very sad (but not mentioned the next episode so i assumed the outcome was not a good one)

looking forward to next season, not sure where it can go but enjoy all the drama.

I really enjoyed this in an all American cheese kind of way. Sally Field is a genious and the guy who played Kevin also made it for me. Some of the scripting is hilarious.

Looking forward to the next series

I've not enjoyed this as much as I thought I would. It started off quite well, and then just ended up plodding along. I watched it more out of habit rather than wondering what next exciting turn the story would take next.

Not sure I'll bother with the next season.

I only got round to watching the last couple of episodes yesterday. I really enjoyed this series and will definitely be getting it on DVD. It's not the sort of thing I would normally go for, but I've really, really enjoyed it.

Funnily enough, Heroes is the sort of thng that I should love, and yet I find that tedious beyond belief. I've watched most of the episodes up to episode 15 of that and I just can't stand it anymore.

Tbh its on at a stupid time (11-12), do Channel 4 want to attract viewers?

Good opening to the new series though.

Have to admit I got fed up waiting and got the season 2 eps by "other means"

Quality hasn't dropped any from S1

well i'm still enjoying it, season 2 is just as good as season 1, rob lowe is still good and its about the only "drama" that doesn't involve a hospital or police people on at present.

Can't remember if Williams Will mentioned "all my children" or if he left rebecca anything specifically. Sure he didn't - just holly.

And holly always said she had told William she was not his daughter didn't he? only since his death has it come out that she thought he was.

Was a great season opener! The scene with them all in the glass house was a masterclass in writing and acting.

Halfway through the season so far (courtesy of US tv) & it's been a solid watch, probably on par with S2.

I completely missed season 2 so I'm going to have to wait for the DVD/Blu for seasons 2 and 3.

Good to see from people's comments that it's still good.

one of the few 'chick' programmes that I'm quite happy to watch with the wife - nice ensemble cast (even that doofus Balthazaar Getty isn't too annoying)
