Very, very poppy. Apparently the whole album is gonna be similar due to their choice of producer. I dont mind it.. but still kinda different to the Hot Fuss era.... yet it still has that Killers feel..... I reckon it will go down very well at festivals!!

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon for their one off Royal Albert Hall show. I'm tempted as the RAH can be a special place for a gig if the band are up for trying something different.

Heard the single on Radio One earlier, not keen to be honest. Sounds very generic, more Sawdust than Hot Fuss. Maybe it's a grower though?

Not sure about this single. Maybe it'll grow on me a bit like the new Streets one

I feel that while they're not the best live act you're ever going to see, they are solid enough to make their set enjoyable. And if you haven't seen them before, then there's nothing like hearing Mr Brightside or All These Things I've Done live!

I'm disappointed that they chose the O2 and that they went straight for the arenas. Was hoping that they'd do a 'smaller' tour first (like maybe a few nights at Brixton or even Hammersmith Apollo) to just promote the album and then hit the arenas.

To be fair to them, technically they are excellent live, they just lack personality

I heard someone say the other day that the new single sounds like Chris De Burgh. Surely that's a sleight on Chris De Burgh?

It's in the first post JV. It doesn't and I can't work out what the hell he's singing about.

I liked their indie pop band thing at first. It was everything they did from album #2 that turned me off. All that po-faced, semi-Americana schtick they peddled and Brandon tarting himself up like a cross between Hitler and Rhett Butler. Plus, and this bamboozles me to this day, his vocal stylings on 'Sam's Town', all that Springsteen-y whinnying - WTF was that all about ?

Love what I've heard of this. But then I loved Hot Fuss and Sam's Town too so I'm sure that'll disqualify me from having an opinion.
