To be honest, most hosts would crash with a sudden influx of traffic on that scale.

Are those for when there's no sink and a "Man Whore's Bath" isn't an option?

Are the prices you get on zapper any good compared to the alternatives. Wouldn't mind getting rid of my dvds.

Does nobody watch this anymore?

I still love it but surely they can just use an Evan Davis sound board for the commentary of this!?

Gave up, I find it painful to watch. I know they have to edit each section down but I just find to so stupid that you have to listen the commentary basically just repeat everything that has just been said.

I have watched most of this series but the products/services have all been crap, no market for them, don't work properly, etc. The producers seem to have had a very small pool of ideas to draw from because they seem to have so few pitches on each show now. What is common is the ludicrous amounts of money that the "inventors" have thrown at their products ... where do they get it all from? For instance the toilet lady a few weeks ago, she had thrown tens of thousands at her stupid idea (she had totally missed the point that the seat extension units that are very popular for the elderly can be removed within 30 secs and the toilet is back to normal - her stupid plinth thing would have you moving the cistern and water pipes and all sorts, and anyone that wanted to lift a toilet up like that could just put it on a wooden plinth anyway). She was a nurse, where the hell did she get tens of thousands from and why did she throw it all away on something that, even if vaguely successful, she'd never get that sort of money back. Madness.

Plus Hilary is frankly scary.

Show needs putting out to pasture, it's past its best.

Friends and family probably. The same ones who'd tell you to follow your dream and open a florist in a small village that already has two, using all your life savings.

Or it's something they say to show some commitment?

Got a bit of insight on this show from a lady who was on last series (or the series before that, i can't remember). She had a toy website that done drop shipping (or something like that).

She was in the den for over 2 hours, they only show edited bits on TV.

Her site was with Rackspace, she told them when it was going on air and paid them lots of money to keep the site up, it went down.

Did drop shipping...

I think a lot of the people that go on the show are there for the free advertising rather than actually being serious about investment.

How many years did it take to get it right? I wonder how much it cost in the end?
