I thought Gossip were WTF! I'd never even heard of them and the song was 'meh'.

How far did Wrossy go up his arse? Notice that Crowe was reluctant to praise Gladiator.

Anyone know where I can see the Zach Braff interview as I missed it the first time round as I think the guy is an absolute legend. Anyone?

It was a really funny interview especially when it went off on a breast themed tangent. Braff was totally bemused but looked like he was loving it.

can anyone remeber what he said about zach braffs movie on the show?

ive just watched film 2006 where he said him & his daughter watched the movie and his daughter thought it was the worst film ever made & rossy said she wasnt far wrong.

im sure theres been other examples where he's fawning over the guests on the chat show only to slag the film off when he reviews it.

I'm pretty sure he just said he had a film out. Never mentioned it's quality (or lack of.)

yep just watched it again on youtube and he was very careful just to describe the film. the annoying thing is the youtube clip ends just after they show a clip from the movie so he could have said something afterwards!

You'll also notice when he interviews people on film 2006 and the films a stinker he dosen't review the film.

Sweet. I watched the Conan O'Brien clip recentlyy with Borat and it was hilarious. "I like to make liquid explosion on Queen Latifah".

But what's wrong with that exactly? If anything it shows a degree of integrity that he hasn't let his review be influenced by having the star on his chat show.

He's perfectly within his rights to like a guest, but to hate their latest work. He never said he liked the film when Braff was a guest on his show.

And he's hardly likely to say "your film's *****" when a guest turns up to promote it is he?

Should he only let people come on his show to promote films/books/shows that he personally approves of?

Yeah, that happens a lot - he'll just say "and you can catch [title] in cinemas from Friday".

The problem is that in order to secure good guests on the show, he can't possibly say that he hates the movie they are there to promote. I admit that it would be a fantastic show if he did, but no guests would ever come on it - or only the desperate ones who believe that a slagging might be good promotion for the movie. Then how rubbish would Film 2006 be:
Ross: "This week we've got Guy Ritchie...again."
Ritchie: "Did you like this one?"
Ross: "No mate, seriously, you've lost it."
Ritchie: "I've got a introspective time-traveling drama exclusively starring ex-Big Brother contestants coming up though..."
Ross: "We'll see you next week then"

I'm sure that was mentioned in Radio Times a while back - the official response was that if they've done an interview they usually think that's enough coverage and therefore don't do a full review as well.

Although I suspect there is more than an element of the film studios (understandably) saying "you can talk to Cruise as long as you don't slag off his film" etc.

Anyone care to explain why a show that goes out at 10.35pm needs to "bleep" a clip from comedy show that goes out at 9pm?

To make a show that relies on nothing else but crude language for it's laughs look stupid.

Catherine Tate = talentless, unfunny bint.

Wasn't great last night. Billie was probably the most interesting interview and that set the bar fairly low.
