Was I imagining it or was the "4 bladed swappable razor" bloke who was rejected by the Dragons on Sky1 useless imitation of a show "The Big Idea" (the one with Ruth "the Badger" one) the other day ??

i see ITV has copied the bbc yet again with another clone. this one looks suspiciously like a cheap version of dragons' den, with millionaires such as simon jordan (who own crystal palace), jeffrey archer etc. and someone who looks suspiciously like a dragon's den millionaire.

sorry it's a big vague, but i don't remember the name of either the "new" show or that bloke from dragon's den .

Been reading Duncan Bannatyne's autobiography and it's a good read. Interesting to see how he made his millions starting from nothing..

Think the Scottish fella (Duncan) is in the ITV one.

Pretty unsuccessfully though - the "Final" of that show was at 9pm on a Saturday night and got the grand total of 40,000 viewers!

But you have to wonder why any of the BBC "Dragons" would be tempted to go to ITV for a copycat show. They hardly need the money do they?

Is there any word on a new series? I know it seems soon but in an email I got was a reference to Dragon's Den being shown on Jan 11th - I can't find any reference to it though.
