Thought it was rather stupid that his friend would insist he used his right ear for a phone call though

what makes me laugh so much is the fact that you can see Larry is trying so hard not to say the things he is thinking... but does anyway like some sort of tourettes.

It's just pure, genuine comedy genius.

That was *fantastic* - up there with the best. I've used the phrase "check out the freak book" about 4 times tonight already and plan on ensuring that it enters into the lexicon of everday life.

"Happy birthday Becker"

Best ep. so far this season by a mile - def up there with the best ever eps of previous seasons too.

Absolutely hilarious.

When Larry and "Mac" were thrown out of the Staples Center at the end - Larry's pleas to the bouncers: "4 tits, see the 4 tits? That's a freak - that's what I'm talking about! There's freaks in the book!"

Genius stuff.

I'm right in thinking that one of the things about CYE is that Larry is the ONLY character to appear in every single scene????

Also, I read in a recent interview with Steve Coogan that...

Should be fun.

Nope, last season there was a scene with Richard Lewis and ladyfriend on a beach and I'm sure there's been others.

It just doesn't drop in quality, at all. It doesn't even matter if the stuff is telegraphed because it's all great. You could see the
thing a mile off, but that's what made it all the funnier.

The subtle homosexual advances from that character were brilliant too.

Is there ANY news on UK showings yet? I'm worried about missing it start as they've treated it appallingly in the past over here and it wouldn't surprise me if i only find out it's on halfway through the season.
