Ben and Meg are coming back!

Okay, not everyone will appreciate this - I myself hang my head in shame at being so excited about the return of an old favourite, but I know there's more than a few fans on these forums (show yourselves if you dare! )

Remember sickly sweet Ben and Meg? Annie the redheaded lunatic? Olivia the drunk and Greg the schemer? Mad Aunt Bette? The scrumptiousness that was Lifeguard Casey? What about stolen babies, Murder Island, amnesiac Maria, murder, mayhem?

It's back!

Monday September 6th - 10.30 am

Starting from the very beginning and running daily. Everyone's favourite insane soap - Sunset Beach!

Apparently returning due to the overwhelming pressure from fans

At this moment in time I love Channel 5!

this is a repeat isn;t it? i;'m sure i remember the last episode

And remember one episode, sat pm from 2-5 where the whole thing seemed to be one wedding of a woman to a man who was in love with the grooms vicar brother. With the evil mum lurking in background with "evidence"

Yes it's a repeat (again) I'm happy for all the fans, although I never really liked Sunset Beach. My favourite insane soap has always been Days of Our Lives. This really needs a place on UK TV, maybe when Sunset Beach ends again, they'll give it another chance...

I might buy a DVD recorder today actually - I was musing over one but this will just be an ideal time to get one I think.

Barring that - please let someone cap this show - please!

If it's anything like the first time around they usually show an omnibus edition on Saturday afternoons. Can't be certain though.

I've already set one of the VCRs in the house for tomorrow morning in case I forget before work. I'm so sad

No omnibus on aturday afternoon I'm afraid......probably because they now have the Home & Away 2-3 hour one Saturday morning so don't want to double up on these. Not sure about Sunday though.

Sure someone will cap this as there are caps of things like Eastenders, Neighbours etc out there, although it will involve a lot of episodes.......

That has to be the most faces in any opening credits I've ever seen - and I remembered all their first names

I only got to 'appreciate' Sunset Beach well into the original Channel 5 run, it's strange seeing all the cast from the outset.
I'm hooked already again!
