The lyric game at the end:

Q - 'Tequila...'

A - 'It makes me happy...'

Simon Anstell - 'But it doesn't does it Matt' (Matt Willis was in rehab for alcohol abuse recently)

I'm really enjoying this with Anstell hosting, and I'm suprised how brutal he can be at times! Last week Turner looked ready to walk out and this week Feltz looked so fed up!

And the lookalikes....Team Gafney...!

Watched this this morning and it's great improvement over the recent series. Simon Anstell is a GREAT replacement for the Lamarr

...and Tina Cousins still looks HOT

Agree on both terms.

I always liked Amstell on Nickelodeon and Popworld but I was amazed at just how perfect he is for this show. Doesn't give any quarter to those who don't deserve it and was very funny. Sky+'d!

Catch the VERY old Sean Hughes series on VH1, Mon-Thur at 9pm and You'll see in the old days that had time for an extra round and 4 intros per team, just goes to show how much the slagging off has filled the show.

Excellent episode last night. Had me in tears of laughter. "Diva or Beaver?" Amstell with the hats!!!!! So good. Dare I say it, but is Amstell already better than Lamarr? He seems to suit the show a lot better. I wonder how long the recording actually went on for? It seems Oddie really started to annoy people. He seemed really strange on the show lol.

Its just the way Amstell was so straight-faced doing it! I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face

started watching it online but gave up after 10 mins - bill oddie got on my wick and the jokes seemed to be a bit strained. might give it another go later, the hats thing has got me intrigued.

Oddie is annoying but the hats and 'Beaver or Diva?' definitely make up for it! Oddie was just trying to hard to be weird methinks. Imagine how bad it would have been to be in the audience watching about an hour and a half of it

I thought Bill Oddie was great! And well done to Amstell for taking the mick (with those hats) out of that stupid bloke from Orson!

I read on Digitalspy from someone who was at the recording that he held the recording up for ages by trying to be weird, and by the end, everyone was just sick of him.

I am loving this new version, Amstell is comedy gold.

The hats this week had me in stitches, and they way he ripped in to that guy whop wrote the Jerry Springer musical was legendary.

"That guy" is Stewart Lee! Did you never used to watch "Fist of Fun" or "This Morning with Richard not Judy" ?

Referring to Stu Lee as "that guy" certainly won't get you a place in heaven!

yeah, and i wouldn't say "ripping into", i'd think Stuart Lee could easily best him ... if he could be arsed ...

Any Lee fans that aren't on his mailing list might be excited to hear that the DVD of his last tour, 90's Comedian, is released on the shortly over at www.gofasterstripe.com

For anyone that didn't catch it it's a great show and the DVD will be well worth buying, he's undoubtedly one of the finest stand-ups I've ever seen. Also of interest will be Tedstock at the Bloomsbury in Feb next year, featuring not only Stewart Lee and Richard Herring but the two of them performing back together for the first time in god knows how long. Oh and to keep it on topic Simon Amstell and Phil Jupitas too. Here's the line-up:

Simon Amstell (Never Mind The Buzzcocks)
Dan Brown (The Davinci Code)
Stephen Carlin (Customs and Excise department)
Kevin Eldon (Hyperdrive)
Richard Herring (Richardherring.com)
Robin Ince (Stuart Foot in The Office)
Phil Jupitas (Porky The Poet)
that guy whop wrote the Jerry Springer musical (Radio 4's Quote Unquote)
that guy whop wrote the Jerry Springer musical and Herring (Paramount TV's Festival of Fun)
Josie Long (if.comedies winner)
Simon Munnery (The Security Guard)
Alan Parker Urban Warrior (BBC2's Paramount City)
