From what I've read in TV guides, I got the impression that the new Louis Theroux shows aren't as part of a series, but a number of one-off shows that they're sprinkling throughout the next few months/over the year.

Enjoyed the Vegas show. Unfortunately it being alongside 24 over on Sky1 and with no repeat meant finding it using other means. Annoying scheduling.

Nah, they'll probably trail each episode quite heavily just before they show it.

I can understand why they're spreading them out like this. There are people who do find that Theroux's schtick wears thin after a while - just look at past messages here! - and the BBC are probably aware of this. So rather than show them all at once and have viewing figures drop as people get bored, I'd hazard that they hope spreading them out will avoid making people tire of said schtick and hopefully keep viewing figures consistently high.

All speculation, naturally, as I don't work for the BBC, so don't go suing me if I'm wrong.

My Tivo should pick it up when it comes back on as well, so someone will bump this thread I'm sure.

His contract is for 10 programs over the next 3 years, details here

Anyone know when the next program is on?

I think it is Mr T next, as there is a link of the bbc 2 website but no actual information

Phew, just found myself thinking the same thing.

More worrying is that I wouldn't put it past the chaps at the Beeb!

On 12 March Amazon are launching an exclusive boxset with the tantalising title "The Complete Louis Theroux Weird Weekends". However, the photo shows the item as a "Best Of" and it's therefore likely to be a boxset of the previously issued DVDs. I've pointed this out to Amazon and they may well have changed the title by the time you read this

Im pretty sure i got the old dvd sets when tey were going for about Ł5 each at fopp. The box sets you see now i think have just been split in half... You used to get a double disc pack. Cheeky!
