Watched his other two series' several times and I never tire of them. He is genuinely funny and manages to build a rapport with his subjects that Parky and his cohorts would do well to learn from.

Finally, something I want to see on the bbc - maybe I'll get some money's worth out of the tax this year!

His shows are always so compelling.

I loved the Weird Weekends series, so this is fantastic news - of course, they would start it while I'm not in direct contact with a television set!

While I think the guy is brilliant, my revisitation of the Nick Broomfield DVD set during his hiatus from our screens, has made me realise he isn't quite as revolutionary or daring as I first thought...and his last celebrity series proved this out (it was largely awful)

Still great to have him back, and the early shows are classic television

And £2 is two pounds too much IMHO. I am a huge fan of the shows but the book is awful.

Yeah have to agree, it wasn't the best read...and poorly proof-read too, as I noticed quite a few grammatical errors, and I'm no hot-shot myself.

Are the Sunday nigh shows being repeated because at the moment they are clashing with 24?

Fans may be interested to see the little video podcast for this weeks episode on the BBC2 website. It's just three minutes or so of Louis talking about the show, and there are some show clips there too.

I wish they'd put the full episode up - they did it with dragons den last year.

Don't you guys have sky+?

AFAIK, the new series is only a few episodes dotted around the schedule. It is not a "series" as such. hence no episode next week (it's The Verdict" instead). We'll need to keep an eye on the schedules and bump this thread when it's next on, if everyone's ok to keep an eye out?
