Julian Clary: Are his novels any good?

Having just seen Clary in Panto, I was reading the programme and saw that Clary had two novels out...these completely passed me by. I love his humour and was wondering what his books were like. I am also interested in his auto-biography, is that any good?

His autobiography is very sexually explicit, in particular about the sexual diseases he has contracted over the years.

why not borrow one from the library and read one.

go on, you know you want to

(never heard of JC's books, so no idea what type of thing he writes about) Amazon.co.uk - this is the 1st one, sounds like a gay camp murder thriller (as i imagined really )

I remember him being interviewed and talking about that one, it sounded quite fun if it is done well.

Hes touring soon as well.

I've read Murder Most Fab, and really enjoyed it. Thinking back, it was nothing exceptional, especially once I got past the 'risque' material, but it was a fine page turner and I suspect on those terms it's good enough. Certainly decent in a 'holiday reading' kind of way, which is exactly when I worked my way through it.
