I dunno, I haven't looked for extras - I doubt there are any.

Transfer? To be honest I don't give a monkeys about stuff like that. I watched it and it looked like a 1970s tv show

Some more Eric & Erne news.

It looks like Network are making another attempt to released some Morecambe and Wise material. Advertised on various websites such as HMV and Amazon UK is The Morecambe and Wise Show - Series 1 complete. The 2 disc set runs in at 365 minutes and is set for release 17th March 2008.Its not clear if this is series 1 of the ATV shows or the Thames shows, but it is NOT series 1 of the BBC shows.

The next DVD series release of the BBC shows, series 4, which was due to be released March 2008, has been put back to April. This is only an approx. date and the full details are yet to be announced.

Finally got round to watching the Jonathan Ross introduced 1 hour show (it was shown at 6pm on New Years Day on BBC1).
It was the story of Morecambe and Wise as they told it themselves through TV clips, interviews and appearances. It used rare radio material and newly uncovered correspondence from the BBC archives & was well worth watching.
Worth keeping an eye out if you missed it.

There was also a book published last year called "Morecambe and Wise Untold".
Not sure if this is/was linked to the TV show above.
You can get for £9.44 from Amazon UK
DIRECT LINK
If anybody has it let me know what they think.

Finally CD-Wow have the Morecambe & Wise: Christmas Specials (3 Disc Set) - DVD Region 2 in there for sale for £13.99, which is around £10 cheaper than other places.
