Well bad news it's been cancelled.

Good, solid finale for Elementary. Nothing mindblowing, but I found it all incredibly satisfying.

I shall miss my weekly Lucy Liu fix...

I'd call it a satisfactory ending to Elementary.

Giving up on Wu Assassins. I really wanted to like it but it's just too painful to watch. The script, the acting, the pacing and the auto tuned warbling soundtrack are like fingernails on a chalkboard. Stuck with it up until halfway through episode 5 when the shopkeeper regales his Vietnam war story. One "yikes!" to many.

No doubt this will get 10 seasons and a crossover with Arrow.

Went completely blind into Wu Assassins & enjoyed the first episode right up until it went all magical & Iko Uwais turned into Mark Dacascos, seemingly so they could shoot the opening fight scene again & show that Dacascos has a fraction of Uwais' brutal talents.

Didn't really feel the urge to watch any more after that.

You're aware that Dacascos is 55 aren't you aprout? He would of more than held his own against Iwais if he was twenty years younger like his co-star is. Can't say the trailer to Wu Assassins sold me on the show. The moment I saw Tzi Ma and Byron Mann I thought "that's Asian TV bingo!" given they're almost obligatory casting in every single american produced show that features anyone remotely asian. Ithink beyond the triple-threat casting of Iwais, Winnick, and Dacascos there's little appeal to it.

i'm annoyed that it's ended. it's remarkably rewatchable IMO. even kitty in s3 was fine on a 2nd watch. s5's shinwell on the other hand......

as for Krypton, i watched s2 yesterday in a binge. liked it more than s1 and don't get why it was ended. it had potential to grow IMO. they even got lobo kinda right

Yes, I'm aware he's an old man, but even in his prime Dacascos was a bit **** compared to the other martial arts action stars at the time.

And you based that on....? Name some films, he could run rings around pretty much every other American screenfighter during his prime, but there's little he could to make **** straight to video American choreography and fight direction look amazing. Even Jackie Chan looked slow when he was at the mercy of american directors back in the 80s.

So is it definitely finished ? With just half the number of usual episodes in the series ?

Yep, it's done. IIRC by the end of season 6 both the creative side & beancounters thought it was time to end, but they were given a final half season to wrap things up properly.
