Managed to sneak 'em in. Been re-bagging and re-boarding while she's been out... here's some of my recent faves (excuse the poor images) :

I've got the first 11 issues of this, my quest is collect all 62.

1st appearance of The Collector. Not the best condition, but I've definitely seen worse.

There he is in all his glory...

1st proper Rocket Raccoon (outside of Marvel Preview #7)

My favourite cover from the Infinity Gauntlet mini series (I have all 6 now)

1st appearance of Nebula

Awesome Nebula cover.

All very 'current' in terms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which isn't a coincidence.

Thanks for posting the pictures, those Avengers covers bring back great memories of either buying them when they came out or hunting them down as back issues myself.

That Avengers #28 is fantastic. I have a Hulk #271 and I think that's going to be massive when August hits... I can even see some upside on the Infinity Gauntlet books, even though they were far from under-printed...

Picked up the 'prequel' to the Infinity Gauntlet, too... The Thanos Quest. Wonderful condition and much harder to come by. Two issues, basically explaining where the Infinity Gems came from and how Thanos acquired them. Wildly different from the current films, of course

Yep, those old prestige format books were brilliant, I have those issues somewhere in my floppy-library

1st appearance of Scott Lang as Ant Man... On the hunt for a reasonably priced Marvel Premiere #48 now, as #47 ends on quite the cliffhanger!

That's a perfect example of an issue going for big money after decades in the bargain bin. I hope you got a good deal on it.

I'd seen it around for about £50 here and there, which I didn't want to pay for the reason you stated, but I managed to snag it on an auction for £25.

I've seen them go for more than that so I think you paid a fair price.

Haul! Was that a single purchase or a pic of your whole collection?

it's most of my collection. i was sorting through them looking for spares (not pictured) to try and sell. I laid them all out and only then did i realise the seriousness of my problem. when they're in a longbox it doesnt look like there's nearly that many...

i know i've got it bad when i start buying copies of the same comic over and over, looking for the perfect one. i found 4 copies of spider-man 300, for example.

Well, that's certainly something to aim for
