JoJo Rabbit

Well, I loved this. There we are. And cried by the bucketload.

But what's fascinating is just how divisive it is critically, with some finding it bordering on the offensive or distasteful.

That's good to hear some first-hand feedback. I've been looking forward to seeing this since the first trailer and am a big fan of his work.

What's been concerning is that I've seen reviews from 0 to 5 stars and everything in between. I can't remember a movie in recent times which seems to have divided critics so much.

It's difficult to cut through what's divisive. I found Scarlett wonderful. Some reviews have said she's mediocre. Taika's Hitler is, for me, an illustration the ludicrous blind cult of nazism. Yes, its slapstick in places. Yes, tonally it shifts quickly and often. But life is like that.

Loved it. It was in my top 5 films of last year (out of 60).

Funny and sad with some great performances.

Very disappointingly I don't have a top 1 yet! At least there are some films out next week to go and see!

Loved it, big fan of his films! Saw an early screening before Xmas and already been again.

Everything I expected from him, weird, funny and at times very moving

Best film ever. Nothing about it I didn't like.

I think we've already seen one of the top 5 moments of this decade's cinema offerings, with Jojo Rabbit.

The film is an absolute joy; the 4 'leads' ( the boy, the girl, Sam Rockwell and Scarlett Johansson ) all put in excellent performances.

When the boy
somebody must have createded a draught because a load of dust somehow got into my And the way that whole scene was done was excellent.

I suppose the divisive opinions come from the subject matter and/or the portrayal of Hitler.

Excellent film which hopefully doesn't miss out on Oscars due to its subject matter.

The only slight downside for me was Rebel Wilson's character - not really given enough to do.
