Burnham really is as dull as ditch water too. There's too many meh characters with no real personality on the show. The fact the lead is one of them is one of the shows main failings. I was massively bored half way through ep1 and only really got interested on the main mission. The rest of it was just noise.

I'm finding The Orville much more enjoyable at the minute.

Even if the computer waited for them to be exactly rotated correctly then they could still have hit. It must have been very lucky that the rotation was exactly right to have it stop just before impact.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who noted the rotation then

Tomorrow's episode looks like a classic Trek story from the promo. Plus, directed by Jonathon Frakes!

Episode 2 was classic Trek. Loved it and I'm loving Captain Pike too.

I enjoyed season one, but the change of direction for season two has me fully on board.

That was absolutely excellent. Lots of mystery set up and a classic self-contained episode that still contributed to the season arc.
And yes, Tilly is my favourite character.

Better this week, but I still don't like Michael. What a miserable buzz kill she always is.

Saru is undoubtedly the best character.

About time star trek had a GHOST in, everyone has been wanting it for years

Also the short treks are on netflix if you look in the trailers section where you can choose season 1 and 2. I like the Harry mudd one

Good episode but I don't agree with Pike's interpretation of General Order 1/ Prime Directive.

They are not indigenous to the planet, and did not go their of their own accord.

Just like the humans in Enterprise Ep North Star and how how Starfleet has dealt with the Baku.

I am still hopefull they'll bring back Lorca; having the crew face off against someone that knows them well would be a nice change. Also I would hope he left a few little surprises behind on the ship .

I'm sure toilet facilities are a priority in Federation Starship design so I'd hope not.

Good episode and glad to see we're starting to see more from the rest of the bridge crew who were pretty glossed over in the first season.
Also liking Pike.
