Mixed feelings, I hated the last season, so much so I think I've still got 2 or 3 episodes to watch, which has never happened before!
However, the last 5 minutes were good, although I thought the first hour was ok, with some poor bits in. Overall I thought the episode was better than the whole of last season put together though. I did keeping thinking 'seen this before' as all I could think of were the cybermen coming through the void.

Still not liking Jodie as the Doctor though. It's not that she's a woman, she just doesn't seem to fit the role properly.

Did like the “The adorable barmaid from The Rose and Crown.” line in Dracula though suggesting its in the same timeline as The Snowman

Did you kn-oh?

I thought it was the best epsiode they've done since the last Master one. Admittedly, that's from a low bar, but certainly improved muchly.

meh, didn't think that was as good as the previous episode, although wasn't expecting the Gallifrey twist at the end.

The story was just not good though. Why was Ada Lovelace in, she literally didn't do anything, same with Noor Inayat Khan, she provided a radio for the Doctor Surely they could have been given a little more to do!

I did think Jodie was really good in the last 10 minutes, and if she acted like that from the start I would have liked her much more.

It felt like a repeat, I'm sure we've had a Master episode before where people are taken control of by their mobile phones.

Also not feeling him as it, just doesn't feel like him/her to me

Yawn.
This is getting more terrible with every episode.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to bin it for a decade or so.

I hear the ratings have dropped a lot even compared to previous season.

So last episode we had a 'anti google/apple/amazon' theme, this week we have a speech on global warming. How about F O with stuff like that and actually write decent episodes as that one was rubbish.

Well the latest one was an improvement, for me, but not by much.

True, though to be fair, they'd have really had to really pull all the stops out to do something worse than episode three. Maybe have the doctor deliver her "on message" speech straight to camera and add a "and remember kids, don't talk to strangers" at the end, add a few more statements from characters that contradict what happens seconds later in the story or just have the entire cast go and stand in front of a Dalek for no reason other than needing to get them into danger.

Thought it was one of the better ones myself. Solid production values, a story that almost made sense, decent effects work on the scorpion things & the guest stars looked like they were having fun.

The only real low point was the alien queen makeup, which reminded me of the time they turned Sarah Parish into a giant spider in The Runaway Bride.

That is very true.

The scorpions themselves were very good, for a TV show, but the alien queen was crap. When she first appeared I actually thought she was the same enemy from The Runaway Bride
