Its dreadful. I'm watching it out of habit.

You just wait to find out each episode which character will do something stupid.

Its hammy and overwrought, and wastes Toby Stephens after Black Sails.

The kids are particularly irritating.

Looks big budget but I wont be watching if there is a season 2.

From the trailers and as someone who watched the original I really wanted to like it, but by episode 3 it was a slog.

Yeah we’re up to episode 5, and it’s watchable but not must watch rest now!

I'm up to about Episode 5 also.
The episode where almost nothing happens (though that could be most of them so far)

Still struggling with the Robinson's Holier than though smugness and their total relentless pursuit of wanting to see the bad lady bought to justice, irrespective of her saving them multiple times. Sheesh, give her a break, and move on won't you.

Finished s2 and its a weird show as it could be so much better but its ok to watch. They need to stop it with the lens flare this season, while the cinematography has film like look, the lens flare are annoying

"Dr Smith" is decent character compared to the 2d versions in the old show and film. She is not a good person and helps when it sorts her but there is a part of her that wants to be a better person

s3

I enjoy it more than I should. But much does not really make sense. It's fun, the leads are very watchable (not bad given worst Bond villain ever) and there are some good punch the air moments.

Ok, well managed to get thru it.
Worth watching, just the once, and will of course watch the next season maintaining hope it gets better.
I think I know the reason I have trouble, and it's not just with this, but with some other modern remakes also.
It's Character driven as opposed to Event driven.
Old shows seemed to get on with stuff, and new events always happening, in between just a little bit of character interaction.
Now it seems reversed, it's almost all about how everyone is getting on with each other and who is in peril this time, and now and again something actually happens and the story moves on a bit.

I like this Lost in Space concept a LOT, but really the whole Season 2 could have easily been a 2 hour movie and I'm sure I'd not have missed anything.

It almost feels like, for some reason, they either don't have, or don't want to have much of a story, and things happening all the time, and just pad it all so much out with relationship/person to person stuff.

Perhaps it's a budget thing (I still can't get over the man in a suit robot with hands/fingers so clumsy it can barely to anything with them, until it flips into the CGI version and suddenly comes to life)
But it's Netflix, can they be THAT short of budget?
