We didn't lose.

Disappointing to only draw, given the possession and shots though.

Never a red card either. And another injury to a defender. Bad day all round.

Little pea would probably have scored today but it was still the right decision to let him go.

Van Nistelrooy would have scored today. Should never have let him go.

We let go the only striker we had who was any good. I said it at the time & it has come back to bite us. We played Burnley at home today, with respect to Burnley, that is a given. That is a definite three points. It would be with the top four clubs, let alone a number beneath. I believe Burnley have lost all there away matches this season, that is until they come to us. We should never have paid so much for Pogba, I don't care if he comes good, we paid way over the top for at best an average player. I was disappointed at the summer transfer window in the lack of good players being bought in & the over price we paid for Pogba. Zlatan is a player I like, but at his age he is over the top as a striker & we should have gone for a couple of good younger strikers. DON'T SAY WHO. As all the top teams seem to find them apart from United. We on the other hand sell our best striker who set the German league afire last season.

You've already got decent young strikers like Rashford, Martial and Wilson. Plus one of the best strikers in the world to play them alongside. Up front isn't where your problems are.

Did you watch the game today? time after time they missed sitters. I agree Rashford is a very tallented striker, Martial & Wilson I have never thought too much of. If you go onto Red Cafe, a lot think similar. The same can be said about previous games I have watched.
Man City, Arsenal & probably Liverpool on 23 points, Manchester United on 15. A draw against Liverpool, a loss of 4.0 to Chelsea & a draw at home against Burnley tells me a club the size of Manchester United is in crisis, that may sound silly, but at the moment I & can't see it changing. If this were Barca or Real the fans would be in uproar. Mourinho is still the manager we need, but as I said before I expected much, MUCH better signings in the summer. Players or no players we HAVE to spend big in the winter transfer or we will not make top four & believe you me, if sponsors start to see we are going nowhere, they will find all sorts of excuses to pull out.

Did YOU watch the game today???

We annihilated Burnley, the only stat not in our favour being goals - and only that was down to Heaton having an absolute worldy.

You think Hernandez would have changed anything today, you are deluded.

annihilated

Clearly I watched the game today as I have already said "time after time they missed sitters." Hernandez would have scored enought goals this season to put us a lot higher. Had it been him who missed the goals that have been missed this season & indeed last season all hell would have been let lose on him by the fools on this site.

Quoted for truth.

Burnley defended like titans. We did not miss many sitters, they were saved. Not the same.

Hernandez - change the record! Great substitute, never good enough to start.

However, Zlatan showing his age. We have created a big problem having two old strikers who are paid a massive amount of money who are over the hill.

You wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on you ass. What planet do you live on? Most of Red Cafe are saying much the same as me. Good strikers would have got some of those past the goalkeeper.

I'll change the record when we start scoring the goals that Hernandez would have scored. Hernandez was a much better player than SOME united believe. The fact he didn't start was down to clown managers & not his ability. I always said he was good & once free of the United curse, he became one of the German league top strikers. Enough said. Apologies won't be accepted.

I'm on redcafe and can't say I've seen many posts saying we should never have sold Hernandez (if that's what you're saying, I could be misunderstanding). Plenty of Rooney threads and people starting to suggest Ibra be dropped.

What's your username on there so I can check out the Hernandez threads I've missed please?

I think we should have the balls to drop Ibra and play Rashford up front. The fact is, Hernandez is gone. There's as much point saying we should have kept him, as there is saying we should have kept Ronaldo. They're gone, and not coming back. We might as well focus on who we have, and who we might sign.

Edit: and most on redcafe are currently suggesting that there are many positives from the game, outside of not scoring.

Well, you thought we'd lost, so shows how much attention you were paying to the match.

Like drawing at home to a Burnley that lost all its previous away games this season.

Southampton, Leicester, Chelsea, Accrington, Swansea.

Yep voice of reason indeed.

Hernandez may be gone & I hope he won't come back because he is better than some fans deserve, but we got back Pogba....

Red Cafe. I just read the comments, but yesterday during the match day thread it was mentioned several times. Go through it.

No, the bigger picture was we lost big time yesterday. We should have at least kept up but by drawing & all the top teams winning we LOST big time.

But I wouldn't expect you to understand that.

Nice backtracking, but that's bull. You didn't mean that.

I agree, it was three points we should have won, but if you don't think that we dominated yesterday and we're unlucky to meet a keeper who had the match of his life, you're seriously deluded.

So you're saying that several mentions of Hernandez in the match day thread is evidence you're right, but dozens of mentions that yesterday was a positive step as we dominated isn't? Why is redcafe only suitable as consensus for when it backs you up?
