Reports after the game suggest that, although he left the ground on crutches, it is only badly sprained/twisted and not broken

Either way, I doubt you'll see him now till pre season. Real shame!

So, we are technically 2 draws and a win away from playing CL football with Sturridge as our only fit striker.

Some careful management of Danny's League playing time is required me thinks.

Sakho may not appear on the pitch for a few months...

Has to provide sample by Tuesday.

He's already provided a sample, has to decide by Tuesday if he wants B sample tested.

Barring a lab cock up the B sample usually returns the same result as they take one sample and split into two pots.

If we go down at least we'll have gone down fighting for every point under Rafa. Felt sick watching it, showed no emotion for either of our goals. Bring on Palace next week.

Overrun in midfield at the beginning of the second half - not sure why Klopp didn't change tactics when the first goal went in and shore up the midfield.

If you are going to fail a drugs test then the last month of the season before a summer Euros is definitely the time to do it

Thought we were pretty poor today ( certainly in the 2nd half ). Not sure which penalty incident Klopp is going on about - the hand ball in the 1st half or the Sturridge foul in the 2nd ?

At least Sturridge got through the game unscathed. Big game on Thursday now

we were crap today, first half and second half. Complacent and deserved what transpired. Think (hope i'm wrong) the Semi final could be a step too far for us. That idiot Sakho cannot have helped team spirit. If proven guilty he can bugger off back to France taking selfies on his bike,i woldn't want him in a red shirt again. A "Warrior" doesn't need diet pills.

Mignolet was at fault for both their goals. Defence was ***** but he should have had something on either.

Just seen if we make it LFC only get 9k tickets for the Europa League Final. If you don't have at least one away AND all the homes you won't stand a chance of getting a ticket IMHO

Hillsborough Inquest jury have finished their deliberations and are due to give the verdict at 11am tomorrow. Majority verdict on the 'unlawful killing' question, otherwise unanimous decisions.

I hope the families finally get the justice they deserve.

Confirmed: Hillsborough inquest records verdict that the 96 victims were unlawfully killed. Twenty-seven years later.
