LOL at Ancelotti using Liverpool's comeback in Istanbul when trying to placate Everton fans after last night's result. I am sure they took that well

Dodged a bullet there but incredible mentality to come through it. Wolves definitely have a shot at top 4.

Gutted we didn't get something out of that. We were excellent second half and created loads of good opportunities. Liverpool had their share of chances too though. Could have been plenty more goals in that game from either side.

Ultimately that's why you're top and we are where we are. You are an unstoppable machine at the minute, and we're not quite clinical enough up top to make the most of our good play. Sort that out and we'd have a good shot at the top 4.

i look at you and then i look at Spurs,United,Chelsea and i think you are a stronger, superior outfit. It's a shame you had a slow start to the season, think you'd have been in 4th by now.

Agree with that.

That was far and away Liverpool's hardest game all season - and once Wolves equalised I was beginning to think we'll be lucky to get out of here with a point.

Back to playing the kids on Sunday.

I reckon without the Europa League distraction we'd be a lot closer or even in there. It took us a while to get used to playing two games a week and that gave us a slow start to the season, which has been the difference.

How bad do you reckon the Mane injury is? I've been trying to keep up to date via various Fantasy Premier League sources and, yes, he was my triple captain for a glorious 1 point (x3). Clearly will miss the FA Cup match but any hope for West Ham?

Go on, make me feel happier about my FPL team!

He was always going to miss the FA Cup game anyway.

Woeful performance - never really at the races today at all.

Not helped by the lack of VAR in some regards as it was a never a penalty - free kick, yes - in a million years.

utterly utterly dreadful performance. Screws up the winter break as well.

Yep. Though that shows more incompetence from the organisations - who would have thought that a Premier League team ( and it affects more than just us ) might be involved in a 4th Round FA Cup replay.

Klopp has already said that no first team players will be involved in the replay.

In other news ... I see the fuming ( arguably quite rightly ) has started from members with full credit history ( for several years ) who didn't get a Villa ticket, in the free for all sale, as it becomes more likely that that might be the game.

I'm sensing a little de ja vu here, I recall it was the FA Cup that messed up a decent run of form last time. Lets hope it's not the case this time round.

Considering who we were playing, Alisson was involved far too much for me last night. But it's good to see the defenders have started including the woodwork in their little passing triangles

Still, 106 points from the last 38 games is not too shabby And only two more wins from guaranteed CL qualification.

But my God, the London Stadium is a ****** ground for football; fans way too far from the pitch, middle of nowhere. I think it's only saving grace is the legroom you get.

Awful first half ( though should have had a penalty but I have no idea how we got away with that blatant back pass ) but excellent in the second.

Not long back, weird game, certainly not a 4-0 one on the balance of play over the 90 minutes. Saints the better team first half, another 5 minutes they'd have gone in ahead. Would have to see our penalty shout again, though given the check was pretty quick suggests maybe not. Still another 3 points closer.

From the stream I was watching he was all over Firmino, and it could easily have been given. I think the fact the ball sailed quite far over the box, and Bobby was unlikely to reach it unimpeded, might have swayed it. Still, a foul in the box...

Ings' looked like a dive after he'd lost possession, but Fab did leave a leg in.

1 draw and 24 wins, that's a phenomenal statistic. Also twice as many points at United, lol

Interesting thought ... if Rodgers had won the title in 2014 then, in all likelihood, Klopp wouldn't be at LFC now. Was it worth the additional 6 year wait ?

For me I would have to say "yes"
