There is a episode of SG1 that did this too, I generally find those sorts of episodes or movies quite enjoyable. There was also a show called Day Break that had this premise as well.

We have Groundhog Day

Also. The Edge of Tomorrow

and there was 1 episode of Star Trek Next Gen which did the "repeating the same day" concept.

Any others?

Source Code uses the same format.

First two seasons of Only Fools And Horses have been added to UK. Have been wanting to rewatch these for a while but never had anywhere decent to stream.

I can recommend St Vincent too. It's been on Canada (I think) for a while now.

It's pretty good. Murray is his usual self which is always a good watch.

I wonder if they are uncut, or the less cut versions from iTunes.

Nope, I rewatched Friends too when the US got it. You can keep your ad-riddled Dave, Comedy Central and Channel 5 nonsense. I'm 100% streamy baby.

"Life Serial" the fifth episode of S6 of Buffy. Good episode as well.

I think the 'time travel reset without consequence' is actually a different genre than 'Time travel back consequences'. The former is very rare... later not so much. There is a Wikipedia list of time loop films, but they don't differentiate between the two.

One of my favourite time repeating/travel flicks is Timecrimes. I'm sure it's still on netflix somewhere.

Yeah enjoyed Prisoners as well. Pretty decent thriller and did not drag on even at 2 and a half hours.

It's on Amazon Instant Video just to keep this relevant.

So yeah, i suppose that's me looking forward to Sicario even more now.

Watched that tonight.
Enjoyed it

Aside from the film itself (Source Code)
I was fascinated, during the entire movie by the double decker trains which seemed an amazingly brilliant idea, and (assuming no tunnels) was wondering why the hell don't we have some over here as it seems a total no brainer as to many of the issues re overcrowding.

Still on the time-travel theme, I saw an anime recommended in a similar article elsewhere. It's actually on the UK Netflix Steins;Gate. I've not watched it yet myself, but others on the thread were praising it.
