Uh Oh!

Seems there is a major stumbling block with regard to who potentially takes over distributing the show. Netflix currently hold the International streaming rights & Amazon hold the US streaming rights. Someone will have to cave. Let the fight commence!!!

Read somewhere that Krypton gets better ratings than this. What a world we live in!

Rumours are that Amazon are most likely to pick this up now.

As long as someone does.

SyFy must be making room for more Sharknado and other Asylum "blockbusters".

The Expanse must be one of the few decent original shows left on the network that's not a re-run.

The Expanse was always too classy for SyFy

Apparently negotiations are going well with Amazon so fingers-crossed!

Ep.6 was very good & I believe it has now reached the end of Book Two?

Great news. My only worry now is that the show starts to go down a cod-religion/philosophy route like BSG.

It's following the books, so that would depend on whether or not they do that. I've not read past the first.

Excellent news.

I cared not a jot about all the cancellations bar this one.

The question now is, will Netflix continue to have the show in the UK? Or will it all transfer over to Amazon?

This is about the only thing that would make me sign up for Prime.

Well hopefully S3 will appear on either service soon. Getting to the end of S2 and I'm going to want to continue!

Update: the show has now been completely removed from Netflix UK. Presumably, this is in anticipation of Amazon having control over it from here on. Notably, though, season 3 still isn't available anywhere.

Seasons 1 and 2 do now have UK DVD/blu-ray releases available.

The current seasons will no doubt appear on Amazon Prime soon, before they start showing the new season that they now finance...

Not sure how long it's been up, but season 3 is available on Amazon Prime.
