Here's a nice post on Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/television/...in_general_do/

It has convinced me to start watching.

The scenes in Eros were really well done.

this is my favourite show at the moment - it's not perfect but the story is really tight

Season 2 has finished now, so fingers crossed that it's UK Netflix appearance is imminent.

I preferred the second season. Struggled to get into the first series and while I'm not particularly invested in any of the characters still, it's more watchable.

I tried several times to get into this without success. After several aborted attempts on Netflix, I managed to watch up to S1 Ep4 before losing interest completely. Good sets but the stilted dialogue and washed-up characters got on my nerves.

I thought it was. I liked the first season, but season 2 has begun the task of making this a coherent universe for me.

Four episodes watched today and I am hooked. Great sets/CGI, realistic depictions of space (apart from noise in a vacuum), some good characters too.

Finished season 2 (Netflix).

Almost gave up on it multiple times much like the first season.

The cast is mostly made up of unlikeable characters with flat dialogue and the 'Belter' accent is just atrocious - Jar-Jar Binks realms.

There is just enough good in there to keep me going. The quality special effects, solid story with interesting factions and side plots. Three interesting characters, Vice President(?) lady, Amos and the Martian soldier.

Glad to have this back!

If anyone is looking to pick up the books, Fopp currently has books 1 to 6 in their "2 for £5" selection. I already owned the first, so picked up the paperbacks 2 to 5 & also the hardback for 6, all for the cheap price of £13! Best book bargains I've found in ages...

.... Just need to find the time to read them now!

Solid opening episode, wrapping up the S2 cliffhangers & setting up S3.

The FX continue to impress, especially with that lengthy one-shot solar-system opening scene...

FFS! SyFy have cancelled this.

It's Dark Matters all over again. End it after three seasons, with no resolution....

On the plus side, they are trying to sell it & Netflix currently have some kind of distribution deal with them. If earlier seasons have had good numbers, it could be taken over by Netflix?

That's bad news - hopefully Netflix will pick it up. This week's episode was superb.

The production values are very high - it must cost a lot to make.

Yeah I hope someone picks it up. This is far superior to Dark Matter, but I as you said must cost a lot more.
